As a qualified and experienced counsellor, I am here to listen, support and help you through the difficulties you or your family might be facing in these unprecedented times. I fully understand that making the decision to start counselling can sometimes be daunting and difficult and I offer compassionate, confidential and non-judgmental counselling via telephone, Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp or FaceTime.
Working with adult individuals I have an extensive range of experience and training in many areas including anxiety, panic attacks, bereavement, loss, P.T.S.D. bullying, abuse, depression, GAD, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, redundancy and work related issues.
Offering both long and short term (Solution Focused Brief Therapy) counselling, therapy can be just a few sessions or may continue over several weeks or months. This will depend entirely on your individual requirements and situation. All counselling is therefore tailored to suit your specific and unique needs. I am committed to helping and supporting you at all times.
As a professional, I am closely monitoring the World Health Organisation and local authority guidances in order to maintain the health and wellbeing of my clients. With face to face counselling currently not always being advisable, existing clients can continue their sessions either as structured telephone or as online video counselling.
In these especially trying times we also welcome all new clients and, subject to availability, can offer you counselling in the comfort your own home via video or telephone.
Working to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) code of ethics (www.bacp.co.uk.)I believe that each and every individual is of intrinsic worth. I therefore offer each person unconditional positive regard, empathy, genuineness and respect for you, your values and your personal belief system and offer each individual the highest level of confidentiality.
